Dreams Come True

Clyde Bond is an OSU graduate. He recently had a stroke and this had forced him to leave his job and rely more on his family. Clyde's illness put a damper on his outlook and his sister thought that if we could get him to a OSU football game it would lift his spirits.

With the help of the OSU athletic department we were able to purchase two handicap accessible tickets so Clyde and his sister Rebecca Myers could attend the OSU/Penn State game. Clyde had no idea they were going to the game. She told him they were going to a party and that he should wear his OSU gear. She told him the party was at a bar across the street from the OSU stadium. Once they got there they parked in the handicap section of the stadium parking lot and when they exited the car is when Clyde found out they were actually going to the game. You can imagine his surprise.

The Senior Dream Center has fulfilled dozens of dreams for seniors, but there are some things that we cannot do. We could not make Ohio State victorious in that game.
